Melissa looks after how Alexander Adventures looks and sounds: the design of the website, the brand, the brochures and the adventure pages themselves. Her job is to make sure the trip you read about is the trip you actually get, written honestly, with the detail you need to decide.
She’s on the practical side of it too. Departures and quotes, joining instructions, and the enquiries that begin “this might be a daft question”. All of it alongside the final year of a business degree and life as a single mum.
She’s not the one leading you up the mountain, but she’s rarely far from one herself. Weekends are spent in a tent somewhere high, her favourite place is the Scottish Highlands. The best part, she’ll tell you, is the first coffee of the morning, outside, with the view in front of her.
