This course is designed for people whose main focus is to deliver paddlesport taster/starter sessions and short journeys in very sheltered water environments.
The qualification will cover kitting up a group, getting them afloat, initial familiarisation activities, games & activities to support learning and mini journeys to inspire new paddlers. This 2 day course helps to prepare candidates for their first paddlesport instructing role, ensuring they are ‘primed and ready’ to deliver taster sessions for people new to Paddlesport.

Description
- The course runs from 9am – 4pm each day (7-8th October)
- You must be registered with British Canoeing to attend the course
- Lots of different boats and crafts to try
- Location: Our Chester-le-Street site on the River Wear
