Gorge Walking & Paddle-boarding Adventure

On this full day adventure we’ll introduce you to exhilarating sport of gorge walking and help you get to grips with this adventurous activity in a fun and supportive setting.

We’ll be jumping into water pools, climbing waterfalls and exploring gorges in a wild and remote part of the Lake District. If you have done gorge walking in Cumbria previously then it’s likely you will have been on one of the more well known routes – the particular section we will be using is off the beaten track and away from the crowds!

After a adrenaline fuelled morning you will have built up an appetite – next up is lunch freshly prepared by the Alexander Adventures team!

In the afternoon we will jumping on our paddleboards to enjoy the blue waters and beautiful scenery this area has to offer. You can get a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and hills from on top of your board, letting you escape into their peaceful scenery for a couple hours. No prior experience is required as you will be led by our expert SUP guides, enjoying the fresh air on the lookout for local wildlife.

• Must be comfortable in water
• Paddleboard experience beneficial but not essential
• Some level of fitness in order to be able to cope with demands of the day
• All equipment provided including: wetsuits, buoyancy aids, paddleboards etc
